hunterdave
Hi guys I'm thinking of buying the above scope, can anyone recommend it , Or offer an alternative for £300 with similar mag Cheers Dave
phaedra1106
Have a look at the lower priced Vortex scopes, much better glass. Been through a few of Vipers and Optisans, not bad for around £170 used but I wouldn't pay £300 for a new one. If you particularly want an MTC look at the Genesis 5-20x40. Or for a budget 32x scope try Brian Fox at Fox Firearms. If you really need that much mag for a .223 I'd save up for a better scope like a Vortex or a Sightron. Buy once, cry once but job done and it will probably outlast the rifle!. Edited May 21, 2014 by phaedra1106

billytheghillie
don't know about target masters, but I bought a gameking scope and well pleased with it look here jsramsbottom.com
phaedra1106
At 32x it won't be good, most of the cheaper (no insult intended) 32x mag loose too much clarity above 24x and at 100yds you really don't need anything more than that, consistent breathing, release and muscle memory will tighten your grouping
bicykillgaz
I've got the Genesis 5-20x50. It's an excellent, well built scope, as are their other models. But, center of the reticule is very fine, and can be difficult to see when target shooting. You can switch the illumination on though, which does help. There's someone selling one in trading section for £200 you could get it and blow the rest on ammo or hookers!
