shanekiely
So I have bought a hatsan escort semi auto and it's one of the factory dipped ones in mossy oak breakup. Just wondering if it peels, whats underneath? Do they dip a normal black escort to be camo? Or is it left unfinished? My curiosity is peaked! Not least because I take delivery of a black MPA pistol grip stock for it soon.

r1steele
They are white/cream coloured under the camo and they look really shabby once they start to wear.

shanekiely
Edit: Reason i'm asking is I've just ordered an 'MPA' stock with the pistol grip but it's in black. And some of the camo is peeling already. Yeah they are pretty weak, water transfers. My friend had his wheels on his car done in carbon fibre and they wore quickly. so is the reciever white aswell? Might need to strip and cerekote mine. Anyone had experience of removing this, rather than let it fall off into hearing aid beige?
