ab1964
Next week, Tuesday, I've scheduled my first DSC2 outing with an observer. Any one have any tips on what to expect? Thank you for your thoughts.

Redgum
Make sure you have all your kit, sharp knife, bino's, sticks, rope for carring a carcass. Make sure you know what animal you are culling and why and of course safety first as always. Practice the correct procedure of entering and leaving highseats, getting over fences etc. Don't get stressed, your AW is just observing, carry out your grallock as you usually do and you will prob be ask to field dress ( head and legs off ). Basically do all the things you were taught in the DSC1, maybe a good idea to have a quick glance back through your DSC1 manual to refresh your memory. kent
Just remember you cannot fail, even if you don't see a shootable beast. Its all about gathering evidence to back up what your learnt in theory at level1. It is not about shooting the minimum three deer as quick as possible
Bewsher500
assume you did your stalk judging by the date first thing I would do is speak to the AW and ask THEM what they expect AW come in many sizes and shapes some want to see a gralloch in one way, some are less particular some want a particular rifle carry, address a loaded chamber differently etc etc
