Yes mate

Edgar brothers do them!you have to order through dealer who have a book with them!think they told me it was about £175 for the .17hmr kit!

I went of the idea Tbh beter to just get another rifle saves re zeroing and such!

My original plan was to try it out then buy other parts and make it into complete rifle but you cannot buy the action/reciever on its own!

I thought this was only on the 455 Varmint and not on the American :hmm: Not really sure of the point, with all the hassle of, stock off, action out, messing around with grub screws, re-zeroing and trying to achieve consistent accuracy. Its only going to save just over half the cost of a new one and close to a mint second hand one. For me its one rifle in .22 and another in .17.

It's only 455 and as you say a mission to do it. Personally I've bought 2 rifles to avoid this hassle and doesn't cost that much more.

The 22 and 17hmr kit that is available in America has 2 holes drilled in the stock to get to the barrel retaining grub screws without having to remove the action
