hoggysreels
Doe's anyone know of a vid with someone using the Primos crow caller. I'm having mixed results, rangeing good to poor. If there was a vid with UK or Irish lads using one ... l'm not sure whether to reply with the same call coming from the Crow " or as my efforts sound, a Mallard" ... either way, l like to see and hear one being used correctly if poss by users here or Ireland ... lm wondering if they are more in keeping with the USA Crow frequencies ... likely as not lm just a duffer using mine ! Imperfection
My advice is,dont blow it like your playing a recorder-you need to almost growl into it and the raspy sound will come out.

weejase
Slight bite and two short blows with a longer drawn out third works for me.

I have used the Primos caller for many years and in my opinion, it's the best caller around. My advise is not to give up on the Primos. Just practice, practice, then practice some more. I can use mine to call in Crows, Rooks, Jackdaws, and even seagulls, although calling seagulls was just to see if I could do it, and they were not shot. hoggysreels
Ive every intention Steve, l genuinely think they are a proven tool to.use, regards Corvid shooting. Thing is l'm pooh with it.lol.... think its like you all say, hang on in there and just keep practicing. l'd like to know what individual Crow calls actually mean, all l usually do is "attempt" to emulate the call l hear in response ...
