Mike737 Posted June 7, 2014 Report Share Posted June 7, 2014 The wood is definitely pine, but are you talking about what colour the stain is? Manufactures give stains names that relate to wood, but you are best trying some on an out-of-sight area first, to get the results you want. The same stain will give a different result on different woods. Contact a local French Polisher who will probably give you advice and try some. Mike.
