ADVICE ON AUTO'S

I have a Browning Gold Hunter Camo, 3.5" Magnum with 32" barrels. It has the duratouch synthetic stock and forend. I must admit 32" barrels are long on top of the 3.5" action, and If I bought it again I would look for a 30 " barrel, but even so I recommend one. I use mine for Wildfowling, and clays and have fired 56gram Steel BB for Geese through it with very little recoil. I have also put 24 gram 7's through it and have had no problems with cycling. It is easy to put together/breakdown, keep clean, it's Muilti choked and comes in ABS case.

I looked at Escort, benelli and beretta, but it had to be the Browning for me.

SS :)

AL391 (wooden stock and forend). Bought it second hand, dead easy to get on with and you can stick what loads you like through it.

I would guess that the AL391 outsells the rest and gets voted no. 1 semi auto year on year. Play it safe and get yourself one - everyone can't be wrong and besides if you hate it you will be able to sell it on in a heart beat.

raptor 3 inch gas

xtrema 3 1/2 inch gas

sbe,2, 3 1/2 inch inerta operated

must ad the beretta urika 391 3 inch gas and

that benelli m 2. 3 inch inerta recoil operated

all made by companys owned by beretta, all great guns, get the one that fits u the best, do u need the 3 1/2 inch shell, 3 inch is all most, if not all shooting needs, i have a 3 1/2 i never use the 3 1/2 shell i only ever shoot 3 inch cartages, gas operated guns genrally shoot softer that recoil operated guns regardles of how much geltec they put of the but , i like gas, but some shoot beneills, im shooting a 26 inch 20 gauge franchi raptor, but do like the 391, hevier gun by 1/2 lb than the raptor, it all depends what you are going to use it for, got my franchi for rough shoot phesants weight 6lb on the button , one thing about the franchi is they have a long recever for a 3 inch auto, so a 26 barrled gun is only about 1/2 , 3/4 of an inch shorter than say the same sort of auto by browning or beretta ,in a 28 barrle
