spandit
Just a thought but would it be possible to ask for ".22RF" and, say, ".22CF" when applying, so one could buy a .22-250 or .223, as well as a .22LR or .22WMR? Got a friend who is keen to apply so might help him. I asked direct for a .223 and that's what I'm limited to, although it's a great calibre and my rifle is superbly accurate
phaedra1106
Depends on your local Plod, some accept 20cal, 30cal etc. others (like mine) insist on specific chambering (.308/7.62x51 or .223/5.56x45) and the action type (bolt, underlever etc.). kent
I have seen "can purchase a single .22 centrefire rifle in just one of the following calibres .222, .223, 22-250". It might be hard to get the red tape cut these days though and justify the why
spandit
I'll tell him to ask his FEO when he gets the home visit scheduled. Thanks!
