NickB65
I have a second hand CZ gun stock that I am doing up and I need some advice. The new stock has an additional bolt hole which in some models connects the stock to the barrel. The new stock has the hole but my gun does not require it so I have two choices - either fill it or try and find a bolt with a "sling ring" on it - the idea being that this sling ring will be used for the bi-pod while the existing sling ring will be used for the sling. 1. Is there such a "bolt / screw" that has a sling ring that will fit? 2. If not then what is the best way to fill the whole? I will post some pictures tonight. demonwolf444
Don't know how big the hole is but get a "plug Cutter" of the right diameter if you cant find one the exact same size get one a mm or two bigger and file a draft ( taper ) into the plug then use some good quality glue and glue the plug in, and clamp while the glue dries. That's how i would go about it. James.
welshwarrior
You'll find a 22 lr brass fit in it perfectly, that's what's in mine I seem to recall the metal insert is not threaded. You could fit a thread nut to the inside very easily.
