Berettacocker
Put the mullet into a large pan and bring to the boil, add an old pair of we'll boots salt n pepper , simmer for 4 hours , drain and bin the mullet and eat the we'll boots !!! I thought that before, but in last couple of years had a few and we're not bad. Cook in foil, salt, pepper knob of butter and lemon juice. kent
I have heard all sorts of bad stuff said about mullet by persons I suspect have never eaten them! I think they are nice and I should use it as a Bass substitute as far as recipes go. I think a lot of the talk come from their love of eating less than savoury things to us but a lot of the stuff we eat eats horrible stuff
