Gunman
I am doing some work on a double gun made by a well known London maker . I date the gun at around 1865/1870. . So that makes it 144 years old at least . Tempted to say they don't make like they used to , but it set me thinking as to just how many guns pre 1900 are still in use ? JohnfromUK
I use an 1871 Powell occasionally. My late friend used an 1810 Joseph Manton every year (muzzle loader) and I frequently use a 1911 Henry Atkin. All are on original barrels (not sleeved), though the Manton was converted to percussion in 1832.
