steve_b_wales
Could I get away with using 50 or 55grn heads with my .22 Hornet. I have been using 45's with 12.5gr of Lil'Gun.
Amazed
You can sometimes get away with the 50 spsx
kent
Depends Mag length is the main issue with a CZ you can alter it BTW
steve_b_wales
Thanks for the info. I will look into getting some soon, if I cannot get 45grn.
kent
I have never struggled to get them, they seemed to slip through the .223 rem panic buy and are not seen by the Zombie phobic as being capable enough (that might well be the case not that I have ever needed to shoot the undead but they work on anything legal in the uk)
wymberley
The one problem that you might have in addition to the COL/Mag is your twist rate. Keeping the bullet short will help. At 0.666 for the SPSX (you may have trouble sourcing these as they're on the Hornady temporary suspension list) and 0.656 for the Sierra Blitz, would be a good choice if you do have to go to 50s. No doubt there's more, as someone will probably advise, those two are just the ones that I know of.

I got them from Henry Krank, but he is out of stock for a few weeks. My 3 'local' RFD's do not stock them and get them to order.
