simjakcal
The gun slip I was given by the shop when I bourght my Savage HMR is a right pain to get the gun into with the mod and bipod fitted ! Its a squeeze even with the mod off,,the bipod is starting to dig into the stock and mark it,not happy ! The shop will be having it back ! Ive been looking at tactical bags and hard cases like the plano.. Any Recommendations on whats best Cheers
simjakcal
Anyone any idea if a hmr with a bipod will fit in one of the hard cases out there ??? cheers..
team tractor
I use both but with I use my big bag with the bipod on the cz. The hard case is ok for in the back of the van but I like my gun in the front and you can't get it out of a hard case without lying it flat so use my bag mostly. I like my gun in the front as I'm ready to shoot in seconds instead of running around to the back of the van
Kes
I have a large black, rectangular, padded, full-zipped, nylon case for my .223, which takes the scope, bipod etc. Overall length is just enough. Pockets for mod, ammo bolt etc. Made of a hard-wearing nylon its approximately 11" by maybe 40". A hardcase isn't absolutely necessary and this type (above is a useful compromise. I'd recommend a look at them as for carrying to the range/farm they are perfect. Edited July 30, 2014 by Kes
