Harry Callahan
Google ludicrous lumens. Got my single mode red led with tactical tail switch and scope mount for £50. Really pleased so far using it on .22 .17hmr and .22-
corkycorksta
I am bringing several ND3 laser torches back from my hols next week and will be putting then on a well known internet auction site. I can do you a good price if you want to try one. They are the smaller ND3 units not the ND3x50 which I also looked at but the 50 didn't seem much more powerful for the extra size and weight. Depends what you need really, definitely no good for scanning a field as the beam is too tight. Also although they claim good target illumination at 250 yards I would realistically say at half that range you get a great image but push it much further and things start to get a little vague. I guess also depends on the quality of your scope but I wouldn't recommend for foxing - should be good for air or .22lr rabbiting I think (field test pending). Oh and these won't work in freezing conditions. I put one in the fridge and chilled it to 3 degrees. It worked but power was reduced and I get the impression much colder and you will get zip. Not sure why I bought them now. Let me know if you have money to burn. CC
