scotslad
Alright Just wondering is it possible/easy/cheap to put some sort of lift kit onto a Vuaxhall Combi van?? (it's an 04 plate if that makes any difference, and van never loaded down much) Ideally 4" would be great but even 2 " would help, does such a thing exist? Really just for going up forestry roads and farm tracks,. Usually can avoid most stone/dips but every now and again 1 gets u Can remember a long time ago when i was a boy my dad fitted 2 bits of nylon to the cars suspension, think it was for towing the caravan but long time ago and can't really remember
scotslad
I take it it is not really possible to raise the suspension/ground clearance on my wee van then?
silver pigeon69
It should be fairly easy, think you just need bigger springs and dampers on the suspension for a few inches lift. dont think you can go anymore though without lifting the body, which i dont think you can do as yours is monocoque(spelling??) and not seperate chassis. maybe try contacting Spax or one of the other suspension companies for advice? HDAV
Don't forget to declare the mods to insurance you can get spacers and the springs if original probably knackered. Fitting higher profile tyres larger wheels will lift the whole car. Lifting suspension will lift the body but leave the low bits low
