Mr-Sheen
The flambeau are the better of the two decoys, but for a little more money you could buy some GHG ones which are far nicer.
hedge hunter
Thanks for the replies guys. The flambeau decoys seem to pop out visually more so then the other make. It seems silly but I dont want to go spending loads, just in case its not for me aftr all. But like I always say, if you dont try u just don't know. I have some more expensive ones but they where on a deal
anser2
The decoys on the first link are a bit of a con. I bought some exactly the same from one of the cheap pound shops ( I forget which ) for £1.00 each. Some have been buying these up and selling them at inflated prices on ebay. They are worth £1, no more, but do not expect to get a long life out of them. I bought 10 four years ago , I only have 2 useable ones left. Some have split along the 2 body halves , others lost their eyes you clip the line onto ( they become very brittle in cold weather ) . They might be worth getting just until you decide if fowling is for you , but if you take to the sport buy some of the Tidepool ones. Though ifyou have one of the countyshows comming near to you can often pick up good quality decoys at cheap prices. To start with stick to mallard, wigeon or teal decoys. Smiler23
If anyone has a "range" outlet by them, they have duck decoys in the garden section for a few quid, nothing special but cheapish.
