ollie Posted September 5, 2014 Report Share Posted September 5, 2014 Got out yesterday evening with my mate to do a spot of lamping. First place we called we had interest from a couple if foxes. First one came in to approx 100 yards; I took the shot and truth be told I wasn't 100% steady on the fence post I was using and I clean missed the fox, was raging with myself as I haven't missed one in ages. We moved onto the next place and started calling, straight away a fox came through some cover and into less than 5 yards from the opposite direction we were facing. It was too close for a shot and disappeared. 2 mins later it reappeared about 80 yards away with another fox close behind and I dispatched one of them. The other fox ran but we managed to call another in which my mate took. Both dog foxes. We ended up seeing 8 foxes in total, so we'll get back out in a couple of weeks for the others: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
