AJL
OK, so I bought my young lad a 20 bore sbs to get the feel of shooting with. He had a leson last week, started with a 21g load but I wondered if this was the lightest load available commercially - anyone know of anything lighter? I was told to look for say 18g but no joy. Wondered if alternative was to ask a friendly reloader to knock some 18g up for me for a fee? Any ideas..... Thanks Alastair
Cranfield
I haven't heard of anything lighter than 24gm, but this is a link to a lot of cartridge manufacturers, with details of all their products. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...mp;#entry268014
caplock
How old?? Bought a 20 o/u for my daughter a couple of years back, but no matter what it was too 'punchy'. Traded it in for a semi and she didn't look back. Have now moved up to a semi in 12 bore and her scores are improving and on the up and my ammo bill is on the way down
henry d
Eley do a 21 and 23 gm load, the 21 is a trap load so may be punchy, so I would only buy a box or 2 to try them first.
AJL
He is 9 but pretty light. I'll have to feed him on raw meat and send him down the gym! I'll see how he goes with 21g again and see how we go..
