243 mod on a 223 slot

Ey up guys and gals,

 

I've been offered a wild cat evolution silencer that's been on a 243, I have got a 243 mod and therefor have filled my 243 mod slot with a 243 mod. I don't need the mod but it's going cheap and I like the look of it,

 

I have a free slot for a 223 mod on my ticket, question is can I buy it with the 223 slot for a mod???

 

I'm going to phone my flo tomorrow to clarify the matter but thought I'd ask here first( could save me ball ache of a variation etc etc)

I have a Wildcat mod for my .243 and being a cheapskate I also asked if my force would allow me to use on my .223 (negating the need for me to buy another one as it fits so well on both).

 

They were fine with it and I'm happy with that.

 

Best still get the sign off from your FLO then it's noted on your records (assuming they say yes) and you won't have any bother if stopped when you're out.

Some force sensibly IHMO have now gone to permission to purchase x CF moderates unfortunately yours like mine are still on calibre specific moderators.

Phone them and ask it should not be an issue as it's an UPTO 243 moderator and 223 is smaller so it's safe they should understand that in theory anyway.

Essex. Herts and Humberside 100% allow you to change its calibre
