daddypigsaw
I recently aquired a Mauser 12g from peejay through the board. It's fine and has come up a treat, but still needs some attention; a firing pin and an ejector rod are on their last legs and could do with replacing. I imagine these aren't going to be stock parts, so would have to be fabricated. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith or engineer, in my area, that could make these parts? Would there be a legal problem for an engineer to make gunparts from drawings?
Graham M
You are in Derby so Wisemans would be the obvious choice. They are a bit expensive though. G.M.

deadeye ive
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a shout. Anyone the gunsmith at Catton Park? That'll be Derek Fearn ................Not used him myself but know plenty who have and all feedback has been positive ..........He's getting on a bit though . Melbourne Tackle and Gun use someone who's very good .............I 'm partial to a bit of machining myself self and what work I've had done there has been spot on ........Fast turn around as well . You could try Ivan at Livens also but I would'nt bother with Garlands

Noddy without Bigears
I can personally recommend Simon the resident Gunsmith at Doveridge Shooting Ground, I just had my barrels re-blued, new firing pin and full strip down and clean (which I enjoyed thoroughly ). 2 weeks from start to finish and a quality job. Plus, he's a nice friendly bloke who did a minor repair on my friend's auto for nothing

Gordon R
Slightly further, but Stensby's in Manchester. All done in house - cheapish and 100% reliable.
