a.f.dickin
Please excuse my stupidity but regarding safety, manual or auto. Can someone explain the differences? Is automatic safety as soon as the barrel are closed and it is automatic after each shot. So is it just close barrel... Auto Safety switch off... Bang... Bang.... or is it closed barrell... Auto Safety switched off.... Bang.... Then again a safety switch off..... Bang? Thanks
kyska
When you open and load, it'll engage when you shut the gun. Switch it off and the gun is live for all cartridges loaded ie turn to live and 'bang bang'
bostonmick
No auto safety is put in the on position when you open the gun.you then have to move the safety switch to the off position before firing. Manual safety stays in whatever position you put it nomatter how many times you open the gun.you have to physically move the safety.atb

Paul223
Auto safe will reset to 'safe' each time gun is opened Manual safe stays where you left it on opening the gun
wymberley
But note that all the safety (manual or auto') does is lock the trigger/s and it will still fire (with the possible exception of those fitted with intercepting sears) if the action is worn and/or the gun is dropped/knocked.
