CollioureII
OK...decided air rifle = AA Pro sport walnut .22 Scope I have narrowed to: Hawke Sidewinder 30 Tactical SF 6.5-20x42 Hawke Airmax 30 6-24x50 Hawke Airmax EV 4-12x50 AO However people have commented to make sure I get a good set of mounts/rings (are they one piece or separate) So my question what are a good set of mounts/rings to insure no movement ???? Theskyfox
The Air Arms pro sport is a springer isn't it? For springers I generally prefer one piece mounts as they are specifically designed for rifles with recoil, and are less susceptible to movement. I have been using a single piece mount on my HW95 and not had to alter the zero for a very long time . Just avoid cheap nasty ones off a certain auction site. I'm not going to recommend any specific brand, but do look at different heights too as you can usually get low/medium/high mounts. -Andrew Edited September 24, 2014 by Theskyfox

manthing
I use 2 piece Sports Match with an arrestor pin ( always a good idea with a springer) on my 97k with no problems, by chance the last scope on the list is the one I have just taken off. Can't fault the scope but not right for me on that gun being used as I use it.
bruno22rf
When I was younger and money was tight I used to buy 2 piece mounts but then drilled and tapped a 6mm thread thru them and connected them together with 6mm studding.
