loriusgarrulus
Just been watching the White Gold Challenge on Clay Shooting TV. Some cracking shots. Made all the more exciting by being able to see the clay hits as they exploded purple.

figgy
Don't think there exploding clays but powder blaze clays like used in the Olympics. Different coloured chalk like powder is put in the back of the clay. Looks like every clay is dusted. The Americans use lots of them. loriusgarrulus
Your right. Asked at Mickley Hall today. Apparently they stick a small bag of powder in the back of the clay. Scott was away, so didn't see the man himself. Had a nice time clay bashing trying out the new 410 after an 8 week layoff ( Bronchitis all clear now thank goodness after 7 weeks).
