Browning 425 clay hunter Posted October 26, 2014 Report Share Posted October 26, 2014 As a general rule people asking for someone else's permission or if they no of a vacant permission especially as a first post is a big no no, all you'll get told is get out knocking on doors. You might have more luck if you ask if you can be a guest on someone else's permission with them for a day as a one time favour or offer to pay for the day. I remember on here a guy took someone out on his permission, then found out a few weeks later that the guest for the day had been going back shooting saying the guys who's permission it was said it's ok when he hadn't. So understandably people are very protective over there hard earned land to shoot. There's always people on here offering paid days shooting. I did one that involved a round trip of nearly 200 miles with action pigeons off here and although it cost me over £100 including fuel it was well worth it.
