Dunkield
I am on the look out for a bone saw to carry. I have a fixed blade one for larder work and large folder already but apart from being too big the teeth spacing is too coarse. This will be used for muntjac and roe only, so the teeth need to be quite fine. Any suggestions/recommendations before I head off out blindly onto the internet? Dunkield
Well after nothing really coming up in a search, it seems the closest thing is the saw plasterers use for cutting board Who have thought it...

mick miller
Is this just for sawing through the chest when out in the field? If so the Sagen is the best one we've found so far, teeth are quite fine. Edited November 3, 2014 by mick miller
Dunkield
Cutting through the pelvic bone, when there are a few to do it is quicker than cutting the anus out. I have Gerber bone saw similar to the Sagen for chests.
Beretta06
I use an old padsaw. Fine cutting, quixk and takes up very little space :-)
