AVB
I am seeing my consultant this afternoon about scheduling mine and I will be asking him that question. I'll let you know what he says.
AVB
He advised no shooting for three weeks. I asked if it could it be sooner. His response - "they are your eyes". I'll probably give it a break for three weeks!
Sha Bu Le
Had one of mine done last November, took the surgeon 11.5 minutes. Took the nurse around 30 minutes to do the pre op, waiting for locals to take affect then re-dosing. all in all quite a quick operation. As for getting back to shooting............for me it was no problem as I use a HW100 PCP (no recoil). Took about 4 days for the scratchiness to clear and everything to settle down and I was off. Shot gunners and powder burners follow your surgeons advice. Dave & AVB good luck with your ops, you will be as pleased as punch when its done. 88b
A friend had it done last year, he was advised to wait three weeks. Good luck to those having it done , it's probably the most commonly done procedure and has good results.
