BRNDL Posted November 3, 2014 Report Share Posted November 3, 2014 Hello all, Another successful day on the moor with 4 guns, 1 beater and a dog. We started out at 10 am, lunch at 12.30 and returned back to the cabin for 16.30. We experimented a mini driven drive on one of the pens. Only having 1 beater + dog and a volunteer gun made it quite difficult to push the birds *** efficiently as we would have liked. Still, I think we managed a handful of very sporting melanistic birds and the guns were very happy. We closed the day on 15 pheasants and 2 snipe.
