Gordon R
Providing the action has no play and top lever is right of centre - looks a decent buy.
sambu13
Hi, This is my listing, thanks for looking. the action is tight, had it looked at by my local range to check the choke. I have attached a picture of the lever although not the best the angle makes it look a bit further left than it is, I will get another pic up soon. I bought the gun as is and so not sure when it was bored out but I never noticed to be honest. Thanks Sam Edited November 14, 2014 by sambu13
ryle
I personally wouldn't be too concerned with the top lever position on older browning/miroku/winchesters. The actions stay tight for ever. This gun caught my eye the last time it was advertised. If I already didnt have a similar miroku, this would be mine regardless of choke constrictions. hotaeroman
I have an 8500 trap 30" trap choked full / extra full and it is an awesome gun , only thing is the stock wood is quite soft and marks easily , but the factory ported barrels / raised rib and adjustable trigger are useful features . Good luck with sale , I would be interested in yours if my cabinet was not nearly overflowing !
sambu13
Thanks for the comments, I bought the gun on the spot after the first try and its a shame to see it go. Hotaeroman - you could always get a bigger cabinet! Sam
