How the hell do I stop it from rounding off the figures to whole pounds ?

I can make up a simple invoice,

enter an amount in pounds and pence,

Soon as i click onto the next box ie subtotal or total, it changes the amount to whatever the whole pounds is !!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrr MiniMac = Maximum aggravation.

Simple explanation please for a simpleton :)

Don't know about Mac but if it is anything like Microsoft Excel (assuming you are using a spread sheet) there will be a function that allows you to define the number of decimal places. in Excel it is right click on a cell (box) then format/number...........then specify the number of DPs For £d it will be two, hope you are old enough to remember £sd.

Neil hope this helps

Thanks guys,

You were all correct, its a case of setting (formatting?) the number of decimal places.

Fortunately my 14yr old son came home from school and done it for me  (before i threw the Mac mini out in the garden.)

Just hope he's about next week.
