demic77
Is anyone going to Rishton tomorrow? I'm thinking of dipping a toe in the water if the weather is half decent. Do they tolerate novice shooters there? I'm new to shotguns but had rifles for years, I've had one lesson at Kelbrook. Does anyone know what the prices are as I can't find a website and do they sell cartridges? Cheers.
Gordon R
£12 per 50 birds - non-members. They sell shells. I can't find a current website, but they definitely did have one.

Westley
If I went to any ground and discovered that they did not tolerate novice shooters, I am afraid that I would neither stay or go back. Regardless of how long anyof us have been shooting, we were ALL novice shooters at one time, ground owners included.
Gordon R
They not only tolerate, but welcome novice shooters. You won't find a friendlier place. Top family who run it - the Threlfalls.
Westley
Quite agree Gordon, merely picking up on the line in the opening post in relation to tolerence of novices. Still got the MK10, by the way ? Edited November 22, 2014 by Westley

Gordon R
Still got the MK10, but thinking of getting rid. Nice gun, but I won't be using it. Tools and guns - a hoarder.
