tx4cabbie
Went clay shooting today, wore army surplus poncho as old shooting jacket a bit snug following a stomach op, after an hour of steady rain, I was drenched. I thought ponchos were poly coated inside and didn't need reproofing, how wrong was i?! How would I go about rewaterproofing it, or should I just bin it and get another? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your advice, Leon.

tx4cabbie
Considering it. Shot in a jack pyke hunter jacket for ages, but had an op a while back that left me somewhat rounder in places than before, so it's now too snug - thinking of getting another a size up, but heard the quality isn't as good as it used to be. Anyone bought one recently, found it good?
TIGHTCHOKE
Never liked the Jack Pyke stuff, get Ex MOD gear, much better and the DPM is cheaper now as it has been replaced with MTP!

Thanks in advance for your advice, Leon. Check out youtube or instructables. Dilute clear silicone with (white spirit I think). You can waterproof anything with it. Oh alright I did it for you,
tx4cabbie
Bought an ex mod goretex jacket, fine in the body, but could barely bend my arms, it was so tight on the upper arm - bad example maybe, but I found the Jack pyke hunter to be ok for standing/Shooting, and can't lay out hundreds for a pricey shooting jacket I'll wear now and then
