A few pic's

I just thought that I might post a few pic's from this weekends hunting trip, I didn't take many photos with my crappy camera and I will have to get the good ones from my mate.

We were there for 3 nights spotlighting and two days ferreting, the main goal was to sight in my mates new Sako TRG in 338lap mag and give my dog a run.

All in all we got around 23 foxes and around 60-70 Rabbits and many crows exploded at the 400-600m mark (damn I love that TRG) It was a top weekend and with a mob of Pigs causing problems and as we gained access to the two adjoining properties, then it's safe to say that we will be back real soon.

Just to show the difference in firearms that we take on a trip this is a list of what we had.

Me Remington model 7 in 260rem, IAC model 1887 lever action 12ga and a Fenix 400 .22 Air rifle

Mate #1 Sako 17rem, Ruger SS M77 243win, Rottweil SXS 12ga and an Bruno .22

Mate #2 decided to only bring the new Sako TRG this trip as he wanted to get acquainted with it.

Sako TRG with a Leupold mark4 6.5-20X50 (aka death from afar)

That 338 looks a beast of a gun, does it cut the foxes in half, or just vaporise them ?

Not that you would notice, he had only managed to buy FMJ ammo for it. Of course it still hit em for a six every time, when I load up some 225gr BT pill's it might start getting messy but I was doing more damage with the 130gr SST's out of my 260rem.

I will be in Mossvale (NSW) in September for 2 weeks visiting a friend. Big place I know but if your kinda Semi local perhaps we could meet up and have a few Jars??

No worries thats only about 1 & 1/2 hours from my place.
