Olt 800 tuning

I use a Olt 800 for pinks and use it as it is Remember all pinks have a slightly different tone I've taken snow goose calls apart and shortened the reed but there is no need to trim it If you do take it apart mark the reed first so worse case scenario you can put it back as it was Personally I wouldn't take it apart

Have any of you gents re tuned an olt 800 to use on pinks

I have a call but not sure how to go about re tuning

Is it a case of just moving the reed in or out till it sounds right or does it need trimming

Thanks for any help in advance

I use my olt for pinks, greys and Canada's without any re-tuning. If you blow hard,(there's a joke there somewhere) you will get a decent pink call from it.
