shootgun
Been today early mornig on a piece of ground i have permission to shoot over,as is only 20 minutes drive from home, looking for some geese which usualy are feeding on one of the pasture fields this time of the year. A skein of canadas came over but too wide so couldn't get a shot... As i was sitting in the hedgerow under a massive oak tree, i saw a fox in the open field at around 150 yards from me. Gave it a few squicks from the caller and it started running towards me.Was stopped in it's tracks by a Gamebore Mammoth steel, 36 g. no. 1 at about 20 yards. I'm not a master caller but i had a strong wind in my face and i was well tucked in the bushes, is the 2nd one fooled by the call so far
JDog
Foxes are travelling at the moment to find partners as Underdog has said. You may see even more strangers in the near future.
