KEEP YOU POSTED. good on you mate. the thing to remember is that majority of rabbits on smallholding lie and burrow in the heges adjacent to neighboring fields (if any) and you have a great chance of gaining that permision and so forth until this boundary reaches the large farm.good luck and happy hunting

naddan28
More will come and no need to loose hope afterall! Although it does show word of mouth through friends of friends etc are often the most effective ways of getting permission! My old man decided the other day to "mention" he knows all the landowners in the village i shoot and the next one except one (which is what I already shoot on!) so next year when i get back from a year away I am hopefully going to get a "friendly" intro and mention I already shoot in the village. Hopefully, reckon it will result in something stupid like 10,000+ acres of orchards, forests, fields etc etc.

I got one of those bosses - the bolt goes clean through at 60 yards. I am in a field target archery club - went down there field target range once and fired at a solid 3D foam target of a deer. Took me and my mate about 20 minutes to get the bolt out it was right in so you couldn't grip anything. Must have looked a right sight - one of us grabbing onto the deer and the other tuggin away like mad (perhaps I should rephrase that last bit :o )
