ilovemyheckler
I understand the difference between the above from an ammunition point of view but is there any difference in the guns? Can any .22 rifle fire rim fire and/or centre fire ammunition? Thanks.
arjimlad
.22 is the calibre of the barrel - but the chambering for a CF round is very different. Also the firing pin is in the centre, not on the rim. The energy & higher pressures generated by CF calls for a beefier lockup, chamber etc.
Muddy Funker
No is the short answer.
