huds78
As there appears to be a lot of bikers on here I thought I`d offer this on here before I stick it on Ebay in the spring : I bought this early last year in original condidtion to use as my track bike, I did 3 track days on it before buying another bike ! I now have an R1 road bike and K6 1000 that is in the process of becoming my new track bike.Unfortunately I sold the road fairings when I decided to track it but I have now bought a full set of original Suzuki Telefonica fairings inc the tank and it is rebuilt into a road bike. The fairings do have scratches on them though so are not mint etc so could have possibly been down the road?.This the 1st of the early K series shape and is of course fuel injected. It doesn't have a MOT but shouldn't have any problems passing one I just don`t have the time at the mo to put it in for it. It starts, Runs and stops as it should. I have an oil and filter change done mid last year and I also have new fork seals done at the same time. It has around 24k on the clock. Its is dark when I leave and get in from home at the moment but I can take pictures at the weekend if anyone is interested in it. I did ask my wife to take one today and her effort is below ! (it will enlarge if you click on it)Heres a vid of the last track day I did on it its the white bike.I will be moving it to my lock up with the other 2 soon if it doesn't sell to put on Ebay in the spring. As title says I want £1600 for it which is a bargain really as they are a great bike so would be a cheap road bike for someone or make a good trackbike, the only reason I changed is I`ve always wanted a K6 1000.Any questions just ask, I`m based in Margate Kent. huds78
Thanks Lads, yea its a great bike but I just can`t justify having 3 bikes and I`ve priced it to sell as I`ve a shopping list for the K6 before the new season starts . I`ve had the 600 & 1000 in this shape and the 750 is so good, almost as fast as the 1000 and handles like the 600.
michufc
One of my customers has the k6 in 750 and he says it the perfect bike for a riders bike
huds78
I had a K8 750 on 10 plate I bought from new and loved it, I only sold that as I gave up biking (lasted 2 months without a bike). My new track bike is a K6 1000 which is supposed to be the best 1000 Suzuki ever built I can`t wait to get it on Brands Hatch when we get some sun. walt1980
Brings back memories, used to race one about 10 years ago in KRC endurance championship. Used to have 3 of these and a shed full of bits. Brilliant bikes, crash well too as I found out!! Used a K6 1000 in 07, a mate was doing National super stock so we had a bike each and he used mine as his spare! If your tracking it and get stuck on anything drop me a message, might be able to remember a few bits!! From memory it was 182bhp with 11 miles on the clock, went up to 185 Bhp later in the year. Keep it simple with it, I doesn't need much else on it! Almost tempted to get another after this little trip down memory lane lol
huds78
Thanks Mate I`ll keep you in mind, I`ll probably keep the engine pretty much standard except have it remapped to suit whatever exhaust system and air filter I get put on it as from factory there is more than enough power for me !. My first job is get rid of the road tyres and a set of Diablo super corsas on it then spend some money getting the suspension setup properly. Then some track fairing though if I don`t get it sorted in time I`ll use the road stuff I`d like to do it in Guy Martins Tyco colour scheme although that's at the end of my to do list B)

huds78
*looks at bank account without wife noticing* Good luck with the sale...I'm biting my hand tempted at another road bike!!! Thanks Mate, I`ve tried giving up bikes before myself for various reasons but can never do it, since passing my test 15yrs ago I`ve only had around 3 months where I`ve been bike less ! I don't really do much road riding these days to be fair though just trackdays and the odd run like the Ace café bank holiday runs.

walt1980
We used to run Akro system with power commander and filter, that was about it! Ohlins 20mm fork internals up front and properly set up and re sprung online in the back. Quick action throttle insert to go in the standard housing, scrutinisers never checked lol! We found the wheel alignment was out from brand new, had to have an extra 1.5mm from the back of the adjuster block to the back edge of the cut out on one side. Worth checking with 2 long straight steels, or a dealer should check it with the rails they use for MOTs.
