Breastman Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 If you're after a .22 MP5, get the Walther/Umarex one, much better. I've had one jam (2nd ever round fired) out of around 2000 (only had it 6 months), works with every type of ammo i've tried so far and you barely have to clean it. My GSG on the other hand had to be compltely stripped and cleaned after every single shoot and the mags after every 3rd shoot, plus it would only work with copper wash ammo (but not Remington Gold Bullet) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sco77w Posted January 22, 2015 Report Share Posted January 22, 2015 A friend of mine has one and has spent a small fortune over the years to make it run and into a usable competitive gun. he is now looking to move it on and buy an M&P 15-22 that does it all straight out of the box without breaking your back when you try and pick it up. Slam fire is usually associated with pump-action guns that fire when you close the bolt and keep the trigger pressed. Slide fire is pretty cool but it's supposed to be quite difficult with a .22lr and the stocks IF you can get one go for about £300 over here!
