All forms in the post, references signed up and forms in the post, land owners lined up with relevant contact details. So...how long for Sussex Police to grant my FAC? 8 to 10 weeks quoted on the web site though the FEO knows me of old having handled my SGC for some time. Ticket is asking for .22 and .17HMR rim fires to begin with, all land that I have rights on cleared to .243 and above. Stay tuned! At some point though I would imagine they will be slowing down to change to computer system unless they have already done that. I would imagine you would be looking at about a month? Chased up the Suffolk firearms people last week to be told : "Well yours is dated February 12th and the one on the top of the pile now is dated Feb 14th..... so yours is on someones desk and being dealt with".
