OJW
Hi guys, Hi guys, can you tell me your experiences with these makes? I've looked at the Turuk and Tolga jackets made by Harkilla but they cost a fortune. Anyone ever used one of them? What Deerhunter jacket is best as a good all year round jacket? Do the camouflage patterns (MAX 4, MAX 5, 2.G ect) make any real difference? I've looked all over google and found a couple of suppliers but does anyone know where it is possible to buy reasonably priced (if not discounted) gear from the above makes? I've looked on fleebay of course. It seems difficult to find anyone selling these products below RRP.
kiffy
i have a reversible deerhunter ram jacket, olive one side and apg camo the other. i bought it about 18 months ago and used it a full season wildfowling, a couple wildfowling of trips this season and just about every other hunting trip ive done... one of the pocket zips broke other than that its like new and has kept me bone dry in all weathers and its seen some bad weather while fowling. heres a link to it and the shop where i bought it http://www.keenstackleonline.co.uk/deerhunter-reversible-jacket-greenall-purpose-green-p-4833.html
Aaz
rugged & tough were doing discounted Harkila stuff in Jan. Out of the 2, I would recommend Harkila, yes, expensive but you do pay for what you get. I've had both and Harkilas sister company, Seeland, returned the new Woodcock Jacket the day after I bought as it was wetter on the inside than the out! rimfire4969
A have some Harkila stuff including a pro hunter jacket, everything of theirs to top draw. The jacket is the best I have had in many years of shooting. Mine must be 5 years old and still as warm and waterproof as day one.

Pro hunter is the best jacket I've ever owned, you get what you pay for.
