demonwolf444
The only markings on this tool are " T J " and "12" the 12 is obviously for 12 bore but if anyone knows what the TJ is that would be interesting. Its a 12 bore reloading and roll over tool. Its missing a handle for the top of the plunger, the plunger seats perfectly over the primer pocket and could be made easily into a capper/decapper but as the parts are missing i don't know if this was the original design intention. So i'd be interested to hear from anyone who knows about these things or has one similar. Happy with my purchase in any case.
subsonicnat
The Part bolted to to the Table is I Believe a RAMMER for Compressing the loads to the Right seating compression. The Roll Turn over is obvious. Thats my Two penneth anyway mate. I used to put mine on the scales you wheigh youself on, keeps the pressures Very accurate. I have used the rammer/ plunger for seating the wads ect, pretty handy. Just didn't know if it could be multi purpose, i wouldn't have to do much to it and it could be a Rammer for seating the wads and a capper de capper. The RTO handle looks a bit 'strained'. Well its an old tool! Your not wrong though, the axle the handle rotates on is a little bent however it doesn't seem to affect its function in any way, it all rotates easily as it should and is not about to break so I'm inclined to leave it be. Loaded up my usual black powder loads with it this evening and got 3 rats and 2 jackdaws ( ferret food ) so pleased enough with it!

demonwolf444
Was hoping you might catch this U. Fell to the temptation of Ebay as I've been wanting one for a while, i thought you might be a bit envious! You might imagine I'm hardly a precision reloader. I only reload with BP, i have a powder measure and a shot measure, and combined they make a load that seems to kill well when I'm on them. Sometimes that load gets put in the muzzle loader, sometimes in cartridges, with my new tool at least i can close up the cartridge properly. Used to just put a blob of wax or glue on the end to keep everything in but these roll overs look better.
