chrisgoddard123
Hello, I am thinking of buying the REVO Matrix Semi-Auto Shotgun for pigeon shooting and would like to know peoples opinions on this gun, such as how it performs and if there is any problems. This would be an amazing help. Thank you

kiffy
ive heard good things about revos and my mate has a 410 which seems brilliant for the money... , i have also heard bad, i spoke to an SGC gunsmith a while back who said he had no spares at all and couldnt get any for revo guns and also said he would never buy one... dont know how true it is but he had no reason to lie and it would be strange as the guns have been sold for years in the uk, the last few as sportstmas rebranded revo and before that as khan
Westward
You have to love gunsmiths don't you? I could take to one who'll tell you that CGs are rubbish because "The actions are held together with rollpins and you WILL have trouble with the ejectors". Guess what? No rollpins anywhere and do as much Goggling as you like, you still won't won't find any reports of ejector failure even though they've been around for over 12 years. Some of these old time gunsmiths are the very same ones that used to say the same thing about Beretta O/Us... I do a lot of reffing at registered shoots these days and semis are becoming more common. I can't really tell them apart but they are generally much more troublesome than O/Us and the expensive looking ones with the blue receiver (A400?) seem just as much jamomatics as the synthetic ones. kcrabtree
I bought a revo matrix and it has run like a sewing machine. It is sometimes a bit fussy with 2 and a half inch cartidges (Eley Pigeon, Eley VIP) but eats 2 and three quarters all day long.
