TaxiDriver
My iPad is misbehaving recently, 1. The mail function won't open and stay open, you press on the mail icon and it goes to open but instantly reverts to the home screen. 2. Using Safari, it commonly displays an error message along the lines of safari browser experienced a problem with this page and it was restarted. 3. Unable to any latest updates. As it says memory is full, despite having nothing saved on it, no apps, photos, movies or the like. Anyone any ideas ? Send it to Apple ? discobob
To Hard Reboot hold the bottom button and top button down together for several seconds. I would suggest you close all apps before doing this - double press the bottom button and close them all) If this doesn't help I would suggest using iTunes to do a reinstall Hope this helps Steve

You are out of memory, the issues you're having is that your iPad needs to write some information to the disk and it's critical to have at least 1GB free at all times. Clearly something is taking up space on your iPad. Depending on the iOS, if it's 7+ then in the Settings, General>Usage>Manage Storage will list everything on your device and what is taking up so much space. It could well be because you have something like iCloud sharing, which kindly takes up a tonne of space without you realising! Edited February 21, 2015 by Billy.
