silverhawk
After getting into reloading I'm really thinking about selling the 22lr and 22wmr and getting one caliber That I can reload for. Does anyone have experience with the 17hornet?Thanks Edited February 25, 2015 by silverhawk

wymberley
After? Already reloading or wishing to start? What is it that you shoot because other than targets, with the possible exception of using the 22 WMR for short range fox, using anything that you can reload is going to be a canon in relation to the two calibres that you already have? Whatever you get is going to be costly to run compared to the LR and in relation to the quarry for that calibre, a pointless overkill. Fine though if you have no further wish/requirement to shoot rabbit or the like. Swapping the LR and WMR for an HMR plus, then, the 17 Hornet, has some merit.
