greg52
I've had 136 views. There must be somebody in the TA6 area who can advise me where to fill a 300 bottle up that is cost effective and dosnt involve a long, long, long drive. Is there some people who would like to get together to share the job?
bruno22rf
Is there no dive shops near you?

greg52
To both replys above. Either shut, very expensive, only open certain hours, miles away, cant do 300,on and on.I would like to get together with like minded PCP owners and take turns to make the refilling trip. This has got to be the best solution as buying my own high pressure pump is so out of the question.

LeadWasp
Vobster on Mendip? I take it with 300bar you're going to carefully crack the valve? Didn't know there was a dive outfit in Somerton..........

lineshooter
You will be lucky with the Fire station, the Health and Safety police got there first.

Mike737
Or try a local scub club, many have their own compressors. Mike.
greg52
Hi Mickthe miller. Thank you very much for your list. I went through it and there was no-one anywhere near to me. I did give the place that Timmytree suggested and they could not fill to 300bar. As I'm getting desperate I will give them a go and report on here as to how high they can fill it and also how much. They did say they would fill it while I waited so thats a plus. I wish I had known of all this hastle beforehand as it would have stopped me buying a PCP and stayed with a springer. Met one person from my local fire station and he told me that if head office got to hear of any of their staff filling outside bottles the people involved would be out of a job right smart. As to other suggestions,,,,,,Yes I have tried scuba clubs and shops and so far have had no joy. A club that I belong to have their own industrial compressor but it is no use in filling my bottle, great for power tools and suchlike but no use to me. Cheers.
