Stimo22
Hi A recent conversation at a clay shoot got me thinking about creating a stick with several uses. Some guns like thumb sticks or Deer antler tops which is a personal choice, but we all agreed that the ferrule was a problem. Some liked a rubber end for walking on hard surfaces, some likes a brass end and several said that it would be handy to have a magnetic tip for cartridge picking. So after finding a broken shooting seat I used the ferrule on a hazel shank and then produced a screw on rubber attachment and then a round magnetic attachment to make a universal stick. After showing it to the people who gave me the idea, I recieved a very positive feed back and wondered what your thought's where.

Suffolkngood
Great idea.......if you're ok with some constructive criticism the screw on magnet would be a pain to carry in your pocket as it'd attract any metallic item in your pockets or simply get lost or left at home by mistake. How about fitting a permanent cylindrical magnet on the bottom of the stick with a screw on option of either rubber or brass end.
