Big-boulder
Sorry if this has been covered before but as a newcomer to shooting, I have a secondhand gun with some wear on the barrels. I bought some gun blue but I'm really not sure what to do with it. I also don't want to make the gun look worse than it already does. Any tips or info on what I should or shouldn't do or should I just leave well alone?

Rst1990
If the gun is expensive to yourself then let the proffesionals do it. If it's not so expensive have a go at it, have a search on you tube got a few people showing you how to do it with the birchwood casey perma blue kit
jonny thomas
If you're using perma blue do exactly what it says on the instructions to the letter and you will get a decent result During cleaning for prep when you think its clean enough its not so do it again
dougall
if you want it to look good get someone to do it for you...if its a rough old cheap gun then why bother?...
maverick 16
Had some good results with Phillips Gun Blue on Shotties & airguns..If its your first gun have a go, simple enough if instructions are followed.
