nukii
hello from Bulgaria, I will very much appreciate information if anybody can help me with information of to how to disjoin the barrel and the tap which holds the spring in BSA Airsporter 5.5 fixedbarrel. My idea is to replace the gasket because the rifle lacks power. I have also attached a picture which depicts where is the issue. thank you Nikolay

SNAKEBITE
Please tell us more about the shooting in Bulgaria! It is nice to hear from other countries and hear all about the different ways we do things.

nukii
thanks to all of you gyus. Actually i wasn't sure how to open the chamber in order to replace the piston seal (i called it gasket) sorry my english is not enough good. One of you answered my question that i need to unwind the tap. This really is not an easy job becasue i am giving all my strenght ( I am 28 years old) and this thing behind do not move at all. The even worser thing is that i can not apply any tool in order to facilitate the job ( presumably this is possible but i do not know what pliers or tool to use because it seems that this will harm the rifle's steel.) Anyway i will not give up but continue trying. What concerns shooting in Bulgaria, i am sure that every one can enjoy from small to big game becasue we have many mountains and hunting places. I live in Sofia (the capital) and i often go to plink in the outskirts. Apart from the BSA Airsporter i also have SMK 19 and Hatsan 125 - (which is amazingly powerfull spring gun) These two are very easy to open and keep in shape kind regards Nikolay n.genov@abv.bg
