Clc0608
My old Uni club, Imperial College Rifle and Pistol Club, spends a week down Bisley each at Easter. It's a whole week of am and pm full bore at every possible distance, I thought this year I'd take the camera and Vlog it. Basically a video diary of each day. The first video of Tuesday is already up and I'm currently uploading day 2 which I'll link once it's live, I've got a couple more days planned so I'll make sure to add them once they're up as well. Hope you enjoy.
Dougy
Its an Iconic place just a pity its run the way it is. Looking down the noses at an extremely large percentage of rifle shooters, not doing themselves any favours at all. The few times I have been memories of my grandfather kept popping into my head, (he was a rifle man in the Sherwood Foresters)while in the butts marking, just looking around he was there. Its historic, I just hope it doesn't get flattened and built on.

I'm very critical of the fact that they stopped guess day and how they seem reluctant to encourage new shooters into the sport.
Cranfield
Interesting videos, you all obviously enjoyed it. It is an iconic layout and facility, but does itself no favours with poor marketing and utilisation of the full facilities. I have never met any of the Committee, but I have this image of old men covered in cobwebs, with grey moustaches, blazers and flannels. Even on the skeet range people look at you funny when you only pull out an old browning. Still hitting more than them though
Dunkield
Thanks for posting these. I agree with all the comments above, the place has so much potential it needs a cash injection and a serious change of attitude, replacing the crusty old boys network with younger forward thinking individuals would be good start. Guest stevo
Soooo very true Bisley is run by a bunch of antiquated old farts. The ground is fantastic , I've had so many great days there With mates and like minded people. Only to be ruined buy the management and there attitudes to towards " outsider's " sooner there All replaced the better for all.
