Looks like rainwater/surface water with all the debris.

Round here we have foul water drains and surface / rainwater drains both seperate. You can't put your sink waste into the surface / rainwater drain as this goes into the local dykes.

Two mins up the road the surface and foul water is all together, so it really depends on your drain setup

Hi

May I suggest it can only be worthwhile having this conversation with your local District Council Drainage or Building Regulations- they will be up to speed on what has changed in drainage/building regs and what you are permitted, including issuing any associated paperwork.

Yes No and Maybe...

If its in your property and a Foul Drain Yes.

If its a Storm Drain No.

If its a combined drain Maybe.

The two 3/4 section branch channel bends suggest to me that it might be a foul drain. But the two 100 diameter inlets further up suggest a storm drain, so perhaps its a combined drain. But these could have been put there at a later date. They outlet over the BCB's which is a way of flushing any debris from them.

Can you as suggested earlier flush all the loos in the house and run all the taps in bathroom kitchen and wc and this will show you if its a foul drain. Similarly hose the rain water gutters and see where it goes.

Your local Water Authority should be approached for drainage records and will be able to advise on sutability and connections.

However try and find out what sort of drain it is first.
